Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about our storage and shipping container solutions.
What is the difference between New (One-Trip) and Used containers?
One-Trip containers are manufactured overseas, loaded with cargo once, and then sold. They are in pristine condition with minimal wear. Used containers have been in service for 10-15 years and will show signs of rust, dents, and original shipping labels, but remain structurally sound and weather-tight.
How much space do I need for delivery?
For a 20ft container, you need approximately 60 feet of straight-line clearance. For a 40ft container, you need at least 100 feet. The delivery site must be level and firm enough to support the weight of the truck and the container.
Are the containers wind and water tight?
Yes, all our 'Wind and Water Tight' (WWT) and 'Cargo Worthy' (CW) units are inspected to ensure they have intact seals and no holes, keeping your stored items dry and protected from the elements.
Do I need a permit to keep a container on my property?
Permit requirements vary significantly by city and county. We recommend checking with your local municipal planning or zoning department regarding temporary or permanent structure regulations before finalizing your purchase.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards, bank wire transfers, and certified checks. For commercial clients, we also offer financing options and lease-to-own programs on select inventory.
Can I choose the specific color of my container?
One-Trip containers typically come in neutral colors like beige, gray, or white. Used containers come in the original shipping line colors. While we cannot always guarantee a specific shade for used units, we offer professional painting services for an additional fee.
